Ballyhoura Rural Services CLG (BRS) is a long-established charity
providing services in rural areas of County Limerick and North Cork to
people experiencing isolation in all its forms. Doon Social Farm, a
social enterprise, was established in **Apply on the website** as part
of BRS in Doon, Co Limerick and provides a range of social services on
its **Apply on the website**-acre campus. BRS now wishes to recruit a
MANAGER FOR DOON SOCIAL FARM, located in Doon, Co. Limerick as per the
requirements below.
LOCATION: Co Limerick
SALARY: Commensurate with experience
POSITION TYPE: Permanent
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Identification of social isolation needs and development of
appropriate training/therapeutic programs and services to address
same.
* Lead and manage a team of both staff and volunteers.
* Identification, preparation and submission of funding applications
and liaison with relevant bodies.
* Managing and administration of EU and State Funded Programmes.
* Development of commercial activities to drive BRS revenues streams
* Management of Social Farm operation.
* Report to the Board at monthly management meetings
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Strong experience in a Social Development/Care Provision
environment together with a relevant 3rd level qualification in
relation to same.
* A minimum of 2 years? experience in a Leadership role.
* Strong commercial awareness with some relevant commercial
experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Self-starter with a strong drive to innovate and implement new
programs to successful conclusion.
* Ability and Interest in providing support and leadership to staff,
volunteers and BRS Programme participants.
